The clinic provides photobiomodulation therapy, a non-invasive and non-thermal treatment for chronic pain and inflammation. The therapy is suitable for various conditions such as arthritis, sporting injuries, migraines, trigeminal neuralgia, spinal disc herniation, and promotes wound healing with superficial ulcers. The clinic is managed by Neurologist Dr. Ashleigh Bhanjan and has recently started using laser therapy to manage neurological conditions based on evidence.

Dr. Ashleigh Bhanjan is a Specialist Neurologist currently working in private practice at Life Entabeni hospital, Durban, since 2009.

He qualified as a Doctor at University of Witwatersrand, in 2002, and completed his post graduate degree in Neurology, in Kwa-Zulu Natal, in 2008.
​
He is a Bioflex Laser Therapy Certified Practitioner, in SA. Currently the Director of the Durban Neuro Laser Clinic, established 2018, a Photobiomodulation therapy clinic targeting chronic pain syndromes, stroke rehabilitation as well as neurodegenerative disorders such as Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s disease, to mention a few.

Medwave light therapy, and Neuronic light therapy have been introduced into the clinic since 2025.
He is a member of Pain SA, and South Africa Society of Integrative Medicine (SASIM) providing an integrative neurological and non-invasive low Intensity Laser Therapy (LILT) approach to chronic pain syndromes including Fibromyalgia, neuropathic pain and inflammatory disorders including rheumatoid and osteoarthritis, and more recently NeuroCovid syndrome.

His passion is now directed towards a non-invasive approach to Neurological conditions, using LLLT, with local and international experts in the field of PhotoNeuroModulation therapy.

He has been well represented on the social media platforms, as well as Carte Blanche [January 2020, Healing the brain with light], SABC 3 Expresso show [2019, 2021, Introducing Photobiomodulation therapy for neurological disorders, and Post Covid syndrome], East Coast radio, Lotus FM, Radio 702, and Neurology Master Class Webinar presentations, for Meditech International, to mention a few.
