NEURONIC LIGHT 1070 NM
PHOTOBIOMODULATION
CLINICALLY GUIDED NEAR-INFRARED LIGHT SUPPORT
Neuronic LIGHT is a wearable transcranial photobiomodulation device that delivers 1070 nm near-infrared light across the head. At DNLC, it may be considered as part of an individualised approach to cognitive wellness and neurological support.
1070 NM WAVELENGTH
Uses near-infrared light at a wavelength of 1070 nanometres.
NON-INVASIVE
Light is delivered externally through a lightweight wearable helmet.
FULL-HEAD COVERAGE
Designed to provide coverage across the scalp and cerebellar region.
APP-SUPPORTED
Selected settings and programmes can be managed using the accompanying application or the device controls.
WHAT IS TRANSCRANIAL
PHOTOBIOMODULATION?
Transcranial photobiomodulation, or tPBM, involves applying selected wavelengths of low-intensity red or near-infrared light to the head.
Research is investigating how this light may interact with mitochondrial activity, cellular signalling, circulation and other biological processes associated with brain function. The evidence continues to develop, and outcomes can differ between individuals.
At DNLC, the technology is used within a clinically guided framework following consideration of the patient’s medical history, concerns, current treatment and suitability.
Research into brain photobiomodulation remains active and includes both preclinical studies and human trials. Results are promising in some areas but are not conclusive for every condition or patient. PubMed review of brain photobiomodulation.
LIGHT-BASED SUPPORT IN A
WEARABLE FORMAT
The lightweight helmet positions near-infrared light sources around the head. A clinician selects the appropriate settings and explains how the device will be used within the patient’s individual care plan.
Wearable Design
The adjustable helmet is designed to provide comfortable and consistent positioning during a session.
Selected Programmes
Device settings and available programmes are chosen according to clinical guidance and the intended area of support.
Guided Use
The clinical team assists with fitting, operation and review rather than applying the same protocol to every patient.
A PERSONALISED APPROACH TO
COGNITIVE WELLNESS
-
Following consultation, Neuronic LIGHT may be considered as a supportive option for adults experiencing cognitive or neurological wellness concerns such as:
-
Memory or age-related cognitive concerns
-
Brain fog and reduced mental clarity
-
Difficulty maintaining focus
-
Mental fatigue
-
Stress-related cognitive overload
-
Burnout-related concentration concerns
-
General cognitive-wellness goals
-
Support during an individual neurological recovery plan
WHAT HAPPENS DURING
A NEURONIC LIGHT SESSION?
Step 01
Clinical Assessment
Your medical history, current concerns, treatment goals and existing care are discussed.
Step 02
Device Setup
The helmet is fitted comfortably, and the clinician selects the appropriate programme or settings.
Step 03
Light Session
A session generally lasts approximately 10–20 minutes, depending on the selected protocol and clinical guidance.
Step 04
Review
Your experience is discussed, and the team advises whether additional sessions or changes should be considered.
Near-infrared light is largely outside the visible spectrum, so the treatment light may not appear bright during operation.
TECHNOLOGY GUIDED BY
INDIVIDUAL ASSESSMENT
Neuronic LIGHT is not applied as a standard programme for every patient. Recommendations are made after considering the individual’s health history, current symptoms, medication, treatment goals and broader neurological care.
The technology may form part of a supportive wellness or integrated-care plan. It should not replace prescribed medication, neurological investigation, rehabilitation or urgent medical treatment.

FAQs
What does 1070 nm mean?
It refers to the wavelength of near-infrared light produced by the device. Near-infrared light falls largely outside the range visible to the human eye.
Is Neuronic LIGHT painful?
The treatment is non-invasive and does not involve injections or surgery. Individual experiences differ, and the clinical team will explain what to expect.
How long does a session take?
A session may take approximately 10–20 minutes. The duration depends on the programme and the clinician’s recommendation.
How many sessions will I need?
There is no standard number for every patient. Recommendations depend on the reason for treatment, individual response and clinical assessment.
Is Neuronic LIGHT suitable for everyone?
No. Suitability must be assessed individually, particularly for patients with existing neurological or medical conditions.
Can it replace my medication?
No medication should be stopped or changed without guidance from the prescribing healthcare professional.
Is the helmet a treatment for dementia or Parkinson’s disease?
Research is investigating transcranial photobiomodulation in several neurological fields, but the device should not be presented as a guaranteed or established treatment for these conditions.
